Terms of service

By booking services with Maivesse Event Atelier (“Maivesse,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Services
Maivesse Event Atelier provides bespoke event styling, room design installations, curated tablescapes, and custom styling services. All designs are created to order and tailored to each client’s specific event date, space, and aesthetic.
No two installations are identical, and final design elements may vary based on availability, sourcing timelines, and seasonal materials.
2. Booking & Payment
A 50% retainer is required to secure your event date and initiate the design process. Your reservation is confirmed once the retainer is received and a design agreement is signed.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to installation. Failure to submit final payment by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation of services.
All payments are processed securely through our website.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations are governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
Reservations may be cancelled within 24 hours of booking for a full refund of the retainer.
After 24 hours, retainers are non-refundable.
Bookings made within 72 hours of the scheduled installation are final and not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be requested in writing.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
• Provide accurate event details
• Ensure access to the installation location at the scheduled time
• Confirm venue policies and permissions
• Ensure safe and suitable conditions for installation
Maivesse is not responsible for delays caused by restricted venue access, third-party vendors, or inaccurate information provided by the client.
5. Venue & Property
The client assumes responsibility for any required venue approvals, insurance requirements, or permits.
Maivesse is not liable for existing venue damages or conditions outside of our control.
6. Materials & Styling Elements
Certain styling components may be rented and remain the property of Maivesse unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear to rental items.
7. Force Majeure
Maivesse Event Atelier is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Severe weather
• Venue closures
• Acts of God
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Maivesse Event Atelier’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for services.
Under no circumstances shall Maivesse be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, styling plans, branding materials, and imagery remain the intellectual property of Maivesse Event Atelier.
We reserve the right to photograph installations for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
